Concerns are taken seriously and should be shared promptly.
We seek to provide appropriate oversight, clear conduct expectations and safe ministry environments.
We listen carefully, record concerns responsibly and act in the interests of the person who may be at risk.
Information is handled sensitively, but it may need to be shared with safeguarding professionals or the police.
Report a concern
You do not need proof before sharing a concern, and you do not have to report it through the church before contacting the relevant authorities.
Immediate danger
If a child or adult is in immediate danger, contact the police straight away.

Concern about an adult
Contact Dundee's First Contact Team. Out of hours, call 01382 307964.
For a non-emergency police report, call Police Scotland on 101.
Contact the church
Email or call the church and ask to speak to the safeguarding lead. Please avoid sending detailed sensitive information in your first email; ask for a safe way to continue the conversation.
